In a tragic incident, a woman and her daughter were discovered deceased in their apartment in Sierra Vista on Wednesday, September 6th. The Sierra Vista Police Department has released a statement suggesting that the incident is believed to be a case of murder-suicide.
Officers from the Sierra Vista Police Department swiftly responded to a welfare check request at an apartment located in the 400 block of Lenzner Avenue. The incident occurred on Wednesday, with the officers arriving at approximately 2:50 p.m.
According to a concerned neighbour, there have been no sightings of 42-year-old Christina Boilard and her 7-year-old daughter Ariza Chavez-Boilard for a period of two days. The neighbour also mentioned that attempts to reach Christina via phone have been unsuccessful.
In a recent development, officers have discovered Christina’s vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. However, their attempts to make contact with her by knocking on the door of her apartment were met with no response.

In light of the prevailing circumstances, law enforcement officers proceeded to enter the flat where they discovered Christina, who had sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. In a chilling discovery, officers uncovered Ariza in her bed, suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to the ongoing investigation, it has been determined that Christina allegedly shot her daughter Ariza before reportedly taking her own life.
