Mark York started his life on the planet on September 13, 1960. Following his high school education at Archbishop Molloy, from which he received his diploma in 1978, he continued his education at Empire State College, from which he received his degree in 1985.
Along with his involvement in numerous other community theatrical organizations in the Queens region, Mark spent a significant amount of time with the JC Players. Those who had the good fortune to get to know him and appreciate his abilities as a performer and friend will sincerely miss him.

Mark was well-known for both his distinguished acting career and his kind and friendly nature. He never failed to make me smile and was always courteous to everyone.
Mark participated in a wide number of other community theater organizations in addition to this one. He’ll never forget that.
Everyone who had the chance to connect with him saw that he had a charming personality and grew to love him. He applied a great deal of dedication to all he did and set an example for everyone around him.
Mark only provided smiles and joy to his loved ones, close friends, and coworkers. He always had the best interests of everyone around him in mind and was incredibly kind to them.
