In a tragic incident, Melissa Bagley, aged 44, hailing from Lynn, Massachusetts, was involved in an unfortunate incident at Franconia Falls in the White Mountain National Forest.

According to a news release from Sgt. Heidi Murphy of the state Fish and Game Department, a child slipped and fell into a pool and was unable to escape the swift, circulating current. According to Bagley, she “jumped into the river to help her child and immediately encountered difficulties.”

In a display of bravery, two additional children swiftly came to the aid of their sibling and mother. According to Murphy, the child was successfully rescued from the water, however, an 18-year-old brother who was attempting to assist got trapped among the boulders.

According to the police, the father embarked on a search for Bagley and successfully located her in the water below the falls. According to Murphy, despite his efforts to perform CPR, the woman could not be revived.

In a heroic display of strength and determination, the father successfully reached his son who was trapped amidst a cluster of formidable boulders, ultimately rescuing him from imminent danger.
