Eric Bie Obituary-Death News; Senior Advisor Of Fair Labor Association, Eric Bie Passes Away

On November 27, Eric Biel passed away at home. He was the devoted spouse of Dana Rosenfeld, the late Claire (Diamond) and Morton’s son, the father of David and Josh, Steven’s brother, and more.

Eric, who was born in Cleveland in 1959, had a long history of being a disappointed supporter of the Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians in particular.

He set out on a road trip to witness a game in every major league baseball stadium following his graduation from law school.

He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. and from Yale Law School and Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School with a dual J.D.-M.P.A.

Eric lived a purposeful life, committed to the advancement of labor and human rights. His legacy as a labor rights activist, law professor, and US government official is represented in laws and business practices that have enhanced the lives of workers all around the world.

His coworkers respected his natural ability to handle difficult situations with boundless tolerance. He demonstrated grace and empathy during talks between trade unions and factory management to get better working conditions.

He was an inspiration to coworkers, friends, and pupils alike. A new generation of Georgetown Law students was motivated to succeed in the fields of business and human rights by Eric’s guidance and expertise.

In January 2018, Eric became a Senior Advisor with the Fair Labor Association (FLA), where he oversaw programs to advance and defend workers’ rights and enhance working conditions by adhering to global labor standards.
