He passed away on September 9, 2023, as a result of a fatal motorcycle crash in Somerset. Dan was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend to a lot of people.

Somerset police have reported a tragic incident that unfolded around 1:15 a.m. near the Route 103 rotary. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders encountered a distressing sight: a motorcycle and a vehicle, both involved in a collision, with two individuals sprawled on the road. According to Gregg Miliote, the spokesperson for the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, the motorcycle’s operator was identified as Daniel Glover, aged 44, hailing from South Easton.
Glover was pronounced dead at the scene. Somerset police quickly acted to transport DeForitis via Somerset EMS to a nearby hospital, where she, too, was later declared deceased. The driver of the vehicle was also hospitalized as a precautionary measure. Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that the motorcycle entered the rotary in the wrong direction, resulting in a collision with the vehicle.
