Elk Grove Motorcycle Accident: Motorcyclist dies in two-vehicle crash along Elk Grove Florin Road.
After colliding with a car Friday night in the Elk Grove neighbourhood, a motorcyclist died in the crash that happened around 5:30 p.m. on Elk Grove Florin Road.
The driver of the car was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, but is expected to recover, according to the Elk Grove Police Department, while the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the site.
According to the investigators, the motorcycle rider looked to be moving quickly along Elk Grove Florin Road in the north. When turning across the northbound lanes while moving south, the driver struck the motorcyclist.
