A 13-foot alligator with human remains in its mouth was found in a canal in rural Largo, Florida, and the discovery left a family in shock.
The remains have been identified as Sabrina Peckham’s, age 41, remains. Her body was found, according to the authorities, near 134th Avenue North in Largo.
At the time of the incident, Peckham was homeless and had two children.
Breauna Dorris, Peckham’s daughter, told WFLA, “It’s devastating to hear that you lost a loved one like that.” Knowing that your loved one’s death was nasty, difficult, and agonizing for her makes it much harder to accept.

Dorris stated that her mom lived close to where her body was discovered.
